Welcome to South African Genealogy.com!

Our aim is to identify, research and document all South African ancestors coming to the Cape from 1652 onwards.

We will be making use of all publicly available documents, guides and research to assist us in capturing a comprehensive database of ancestors as well as progenitors. Over time, we will, by means of research, continue to link families in this project.

Over the past decade or so, a number of earlier documents has been made publicly available on various online sources, including various National Archives in South Africa, Netherlands and more. These documents will assist us in compiling a better database with better verified records which was not available to researchers previously.

As we continue to capture records and information, please feel free to visit our project and browse through our entries on South African Genealogy.com!
